Take a look at early ideas for the Romford Masterplan

The first Your Romford exhibition was held on Saturday 4 May at The Liberty Centre, which was the first opportunity to show people how the views we’ve been gathering are helping to shape early ideas for the Romford Town Centre Masterplan. We spoke to just under 200 people over the course of the day, who expressed a lot of support for the priorities and emerging ideas for the future of Romford.

Don’t worry if you were unable to attend in person; you can view the exhibition boards here.

The exhibition content will also be on display in the Romford Library foyer from 7-15 May.

The first Your Romford exhibition in The Liberty Centre on May 4

Since launching the Your Romford consultation in January, we’ve been out and about gathering people’s priorities, ideas and aspirations for the town centre. Whether you’ve shared your feedback during on-street pop-ups, at a workshop, during a community event or by completing the online form, your ideas are helping to shape a new Masterplan for Romford.

There will still be opportunities to get involved in the coming months and if you haven’t already done so, please complete this short online questionnaire.

The final exhibition will be held in early July (date TBC), where the preferred option for the Romford Town Centre Masterplan will be shared and people will have the chance to provide comments and feedback. A full summary of the Masterplan process from start-to-finish is available here.
